Your Own Original Organic Granola Recipe

By James Reynolds

Breakfast is certainly the most important meal of your day, and that's why it has to be nutritious and tasty. Now, it is possible to buy all kinds of cereals, and although some are of really high quality, home-made one is always a far better solution. So, here are some suggestions, and you will surely find a perfect organic granola recipe to suit your taste.

Natural, chewy raw oats are generally utilized as a part of breakfast formulas. If you cannot find those that are without gluten, you can replace them with quinoa chips. In any case, this will be the base for your perfect granola. What else you want to add in it is entirely up to you, however here are some of truly irresistible blends you can use, as they are, or as a base for your own mixtures.

So, the basic mixture contains two measures of organic, raw oats, and approximately two measures of all other ingredients in total. There is only one little secret to make it all even better. Include a small quantity of fine-grain salt, and it will make simply unbelievable difference. Everything will taste much better thanks to that.

Tasty walnut granola contains 1/2 measure of walnuts, green pumpkin seeds and slashed dried organic fruits each. Include two substantial spoons of natural maple syrup, one spoon organic coconut oil, and a little spoon of ground ginger and cinnamon. Mix it all together and put in the oven for 25 minutes, mixing once in a while, until all get beautifully brown.

Use large enough pan and line it with baking paper or silicone baking sheets. You can use your favorite dried fruits, and the best combinations make cranberries and whole dried cherries. Cooled granola can be kept in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or several days at room temperature, if it is in some air-tight container, but you will probably finish this much earlier.

Another recipe contains pistachios, almonds and sunflower seeds, one small cup each, a spoon of honey, coconut oil and maple syrup, with an addition of cinnamon and vanilla extract, but you should remember what was said about salt. This particular granola is really nice, and can be used in many different ways, mixed in different creams or ice-cream.

1/2 measures of peanuts, almonds and entire dried fruits, mixed with two spoons of natural peanut spread, olive oil and honey, or maple syrup if you prefer, combined with chewy oats, make really deliciously good breakfast treat. Give it a chance to cool for some time, and complete your ideal mix by including something lovely, for example chocolate chips.

Likewise, here is another, simple suggestion for you. Simply take raw oats, add various nuts of your choice, cinnamon, coconut oil and pumpkin or sunflower seeds, organic sweeteners of your choice, with cut dried cherries, apricots or some other fruits, and set it up all together for ten to twelve minutes. Than you should add coconut chips, and bake for ten minutes more. Once everything is cool, you may add freeze dry fruits, such as strawberries. Get ready something really special.
