The electrical discharge machining is controlled metal removing procedure that is used for removing metals by means of electric spark erosion. This procedure will let the electrical spark as a cutting tool to cut the piece and produce the finished part into the desired shape. The metal removing procedure will be performed by applying a pulsating electrical charge with an on and off switch with a high frequency currents through the electrodes into the work piece. Some disadvantages however are the power consumption of this machine is very high. It will make the power and the payment much higher than intended. There could be some overcuts that may form after the procedure. The tool is going to wear out after excessive machining.

Budgeting should be considered. Depending on the manufacturer, the price may go higher. Even more, the may bump up if its the newest machine and the most trending.
